Whether bold or subtle, abstract or figurative, personal or universal – show us what connection means to you. This event celebrates the many ways music and art bring us together, uniting us through shared experiences and creative expression.

What does the theme “Connection” mean for this event?
The theme “Connection” explores how we bond with others, music, and art. Your work can interpret connection as romantic, like intertwined souls, musical, as a universal language, or literal, through shapes and forms creating meaning. It’s open to bold, subtle, abstract, or figurative expressions – we want to see your perspective on what connection means to you.
Where will the artwork be showcased?
Your artwork will be featured during the event on February 13th at Bardem, located in Toronto’s West End.
The event is Traits.TO’s local house music showcase. The space will be transformed to include a mini gallery, with your pieces displayed on digital canvases alongside the live DJ showcase.
What types of artwork are accepted?
We welcome all styles and mediums, as long as they align with the theme of connection and can be submitted digitally. However, GIFs and videos are strongly recommended over still images to fully utilize the display’s capabilities. Previously created works can be submitted; new work is not mandatory.
How can I submit my artwork?
Submit high-resolution image or video files via a link in the Form above. Recommended formats include PNG, JPEG, MP4, or MOV. Ensure your files are optimized for digital display.
When will I know if my artwork has been selected?
We’ll notify selected artists via email by February 7th. Keep an eye on your inbox!
